San Fabiano is ideal for children.
First there is no charge for their accommodation. There is a gated patio with toys and ping-pong, a gated garden with children's corner, and a swimming pool. A baby-sitter is available on request. Children can enjoy the PC with ADSL connection, go to the lake to see wild duck, enjoy the nature trails and see pheasants and white-tailed deer, go to the Arbia River to fish, or to our village park with swans and a children's playground, or in the cooler season, swim at the indoor pool in Buonconvento. Siena is free of cars and in the main square, the Piazza del Campo, they can run around freely after the pigeons. At San Galgano Abbey they can see the real "Sword in the Stone"! In Certaldo they can go up the hill in the cable car. And for the teenagers, mountain bikes, badminton court, tennis club, riding, the Museum of Torture in San Gimignano, the discotheque in our village and a convenient bus shuttle to Siena. |
